For more than a hundred years, the Swiss Army Knife has been in use, first by military, and then later by campers worldwide. The latest incarnation of the Swiss Army Knife is no longer aimed at campers and outdoorsmen. There are knives for fishermen, woodsmen, and urbanites as well. Though more famous for the red handle, there are now models available in other colors.
It may be silly to think that these knives would be static designs. The truth is that swiss army knives started out as innovations over the older German design.
